ABOUT Macaroni kulcha pizza RECIPE

Kids favorite macaroni pasta along with kulcha turned into a pizza. A fusion of three different recipes into one.

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. For kulcha
  2. 1 cup all purpose flour
  3. 2 tbsp curd
  4. 1 tbsp sugar
  5. 1 tbsp oil
  6. 1/4 tsp baking powder
  7. Pinch baking soda
  8. 1/2 tsp salt
  9. 1/3 cup water+ as required
  10. Oil,as required
  11. 1 cup macaroni
  12. 1 cup chopped vegetables ( carrot,beans, capsicum)
  13. 1 onion
  14. 2-3 garlic pods
  15. 1 tbsp oil
  16. Salt,to taste
  17. 1 tsp mixed herbs
  18. 1 tsp oregano
  19. 1 cup pizza sauce
  20. 1 cup mozarella cheese
  21. Chilli flakes
  22. Oregano

Instructions

  1. Take flour,baking powder,baking soda,salt and sugar in a big bowl.
  2. Make a well in centre and put oil,curd and water,
  3. Make a dough with light hands.
  4. Keep this covered with wet towel for 2 hours at least.
  5. To make pasta,boil macaroni in water and add some salt.
  6. Heat oil in a wok .
  7. Add chopped onion and garlic and saute till translucent.
  8. Add all chopped vegetables and add salt.
  9. Cover and cook the vegetables till soft
  10. Drain the macaroni and add to the vegetables.
  11. Add mixed herbs and oregano and switch off the gas.
  12. To make kulcha,take a small ball of dough and roll a medium size kulcha.
  13. Let the kulcha get golden brown on both sides.
  14. Apply little oil on both sides and then remove the kulcha .
  15. Make all kulchas in similar manner.
  16. To make pizza,apply pizza sauce on one kulcha.
  17. Spread some macaroni pasta on it.
  18. Sprinkle mozarella cheese and chiili flakes and oregano.
  19. In a flat base pan,cover and cook this pizza on low flame till the cheese melts.
  20. Cut into triangles and serve hot.
