ABOUT DAL RAVIOLI (fusion of dal dhokli) RECIPE

It's totally my concept I made ravioli stuffed with spinach and Paneer and boiled it in dal

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Tur dal 1 cup
  2. Moong dal 1 tbsp
  3. Hing a pinch
  4. mustard seed one teaspoon
  5. Cumin Seed 1 teaspoon
  6. Coriander for decoration
  7. Curry leaves 15 to 20 leaves
  8. Tomato chopped 1
  9. Green chilli chopped ..2
  10. Turmeric 1 teaspoon
  11. Red chilli powder one teaspoon
  12. Amchoor powder 1 tbsp
  13. For ravioli...
  14. Maida or refined flour half cup
  15. Cottage cheese 100 grams
  16. 1 green chilli chopped
  17. salt as per taste
  18. Roasted cumin seedpowder..1 tspoon
  19. Flower mould or as your choice mould
  20. Butter..1tbspoon
  21. Oil ..For dal tadka

Instructions

  1. Add soaked dal in cooker.add green chilli turmeric powder salt water tomato and make 3 to 4 whistles
  2. For ravioli....
  3. In a bowl, take maida water butter and salt
  4. Make a medium hard dough kness it properly
  5. Feeling for Rivoli.....
  6. Take a pan on flame and put some butter add some Jira or cumin seed
  7. As jira Crackles add spinach and green chilli saute it for a while
  8. As water dries from spinach add grated cottage cheese
  9. Add salt, roasted cumin seed powder
  10. Saute it for a while and switch off the flame
  11. Let it cool .
  12. Now take a small piece of dough and Roll It
  13. Cut it with mould and fill cottage cheese stuffing in it and cover it with another rolled piece of ravioli
  14. As shown in the picture
  15. Tadka for Dal....
  16. After whistling daal Mash dal and add some more water I and put it for boiling
  17. As Dal gete boiling put all reviolis in it
  18. Boil Dal till reviolis come upper surface of the dal
  19. When raviolis come upper surface of boiling Dal, it means Dal Ravioli is ready
  20. Now heat some oil in pan add cumin.mustard.hing curry leaves and add red chilly powder pour this tadka in dal ravioli
  21. And its ready. Serve it hot
