ABOUT Vegetable Cheese Balls RECIPE

Cheese balls mmmmm yummy. I can have cheese balls any time. I love the gooey texture of cheese balls.Best part they are so easy to make and you hide in almost all veggies that picky eaters dont like. My lil one is a big fan of cheese balls so what i do is I make them and pop them in fridge. So that whenever she asks I can make it for her.

Ingredients Serving: 8

  1. 1 onion finely chopped
  2. 2-3 garlic cloves finely chopped
  3. 2-3 medium potatoes boiled and mashed.
  4. 2-3 french beans finely chopped.
  5. 1 small carrot finely chopped.( I didnt add but you can)
  6. 1/2 cup shredded cabbage
  7. 2 cups bread crumbs
  8. 1/2 cup cornflour slurry
  9. 1 tsp Italian seasoning (i have used mixed italian herb )
  10. 1/2 tsp pepper powder
  11. 1/4 tsp turmeric powder
  12. 1/2 tsp Lemon Juice
  13. 1 tsp coriander leaves finely chopped
  14. A pinch each of chilli and coriander powder
  15. Salt according to taste

Instructions

  1. In heavy bottomed pan heat oil and add in garlic and onions and saute till they turn pink. Once pink add in all powdered spices.
  2. Saute well and add in carrot, beans and cabbage. Let them cook for a while.
  3. Once cooked remove from heat add in lemon juice than add in boiled mashed potatoes.
  4. Adjust seasoning and add in chopped coriander and mint leaves.
  5. Make small balls of the mixture and fill in cheese and dip them in cornflour slurry and roll them in bread crumbs.
  6. Deep fry them in hot oil till they turn crispy. Serve hot with dip of your choice. Enjoy.
