ABOUT Nachos Chaat RECIPE

Ingredients Serving: 2

  1. for nachos
  2. 1/2 cup Maize flour
  3. 1/2 cup all purpose flour
  4. 2 tsp oil
  5. 1/2 tsp salt
  6. 1/2 tsp carom seeds
  7. 1/2 tsp red chilli powder
  8. oil for frying
  9. for the chaat
  10. 1 boiled potato
  11. 1 cup boiled chickpeas
  12. 1 tsp oil
  13. 1/2 tsp salt
  14. 1/2 tsp red chilli powder
  15. 1/2 tsp garam masala powder
  16. others
  17. 1/4 Cup curd
  18. 1/2 cup fine chopped onion
  19. 1/4 Cup Imli chutney
  20. 1 tsp chaat masala powder
  21. coriander for garnish

Instructions

  1. Add Maize flour, all purpose flour, salt, oil, carom seeds and red chilli powder in a bowl.
  2. Make a dough with lukewarm water and set aside for 15 to 20 minutes.
  3. Make small rotis with this dough.
  4. Cut this rotis into triangles.
  5. Deep fry these nachos on medium flame.
  6. Let them cool on a tissue paper to drain excess oil.
  7. Heat 1 tsp oil in a pan.
  8. Add boiled potatoes and chickpeas to this pan.
  9. Add salt, red chilli powder and garam masala powder and switch off the gas.
  10. To make chaat take a plate and put nachos on it.
  11. Put potatoes and chickpea mixture on it.
  12. Add curd and finely chopped onions to it .
  13. Add Imli chutney and chaat masala powder.
  14. Garnish with coriander and serve immediately.
