Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Soya chunks 1/2 cup
  2. Baby potatoes 1/2 cup
  3. Paneer cubes 1/2 cup ( optional)
  4. Sattu 1 cup
  5. Spices as per taste
  6. Salt as per taste
  7. Water as required
  8. Maida 1 cup to make 4 chapatis
  9. Maida 1/3 cup
  10. Besan 1/3 cup
  11. Baking powder 1tsp
  12. Ghee as required
  13. Curd 3 tbsp

Instructions

  1. Step 1 Prepare marination for soya chunks and baby potatoes by mixing sattu curd and spices. Dont add whole sattu keep little aside for later. Meanwhile boil soya chunks in a bowl for 5 - 10 mins.
  2. Step 2 Marinate soya chunks and baby potatoes in sattu mixture add sattu as required to make it a thick mixture. Cover it and keep it aside for 30 minutes.
  3. Step 3 Make batter for chapati by mixing water salt and maida. Roll it as lachcha paratha. Keep it aside for 10 minutes
  4. Step 4 Insert marinated soya chunks and baby potatoes onto wooden swekers. Add more sattu into left over sattu batter and pour it onto soyas. Roast it on a heated non stick pan till golden brown. Then remove them from pan and roast again directly on flame.
  5. Step 5 Remove soya chunks and baby potatoes from swekers into a mixing bowl. Add vertically chopped onions and capsicum into the bowl.
  6. Step 6 Warm the chapatis and soya mixture seperately on pan. Place a chapati and put the soya mixture as desired on one side of a chapati sprinkle some chat masala and roll it tightely. Enjoy the famous eggless kolkata kathi roll.
