A tasty treat which can be made very easily.

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. 200 grams paneer
  2. Chilli sauce as required
  3. half Capsicum
  4. too large onions
  5. for the marination:
  6. half cup yoghurt
  7. chaat masala half teaspoon
  8. red chilli powder 1 teaspoon
  9. Tandoori Masala half teaspoon optional
  10. ginger garlic paste 1 teaspoon
  11. A Pinch of turmeric
  12. Kasuri methi 2 tbsps crushed
  13. gram flour 2 tbsps
  14. salt to taste
  15. for the Kati roll:
  16. 2 cups wheat flour
  17. salt for seasoning
  18. one teaspoon oil
  19. lukewarm water
  20. ghee

Instructions

  1. Mix the dough for the Kati roll with lukewarm water.
  2. cover and keep aside
  3. cut the Paneer into tiny cubes
  4. cut the capsicum into thin slices
  5. slice the onion thinly
  6. marinate paneer with all the ingredients mentioned under marination
  7. cover and keep aside
  8. For making the Kati roll pinch lemon sized balls from the dough. Roll into a chapati apply generous amount of ghee. Again form a ball and roll into a chapati
  9. Fry applying ghee on both sides
  10. To a sauce pan add some oil. Stir fry the capsicum peices till nicely browned.
  11. Now add the marinated paneer and saute for some time till semi dried.
  12. Take a chapati put the tikka filling in a straight line on a side. Garnish with onion shreds and drizzle some chilli sauce all over.
  13. Now roll tightly from one side. Cut diagonally and serve
