Ingredients Serving: 2

  1. Idlies - 3 , cut into chunks
  2. Onion- 1, thinly sliced
  3. Tomato - 1 large, julienned
  4. Green bell pepper - 1 large, julienned
  5. Green chillies - 2 , slit lengthwise
  6. ginger garlic paste - 1tbsp
  7. Turmeric powder - 1 tsp
  8. Red Chilli Powder - 2 Tsp
  9. Coriander powder - 2 1/2 tsp
  10. Garam masala powder - 1tsp
  11. Sugar- 1tsp
  12. Salt - to taste
  13. Tomato ketchup - 2tbsp
  14. Light soy sauce - 1tsp
  15. Green chilli sauce - 2tsp
  16. Oil for Deep frying

Instructions

  1. Deep fry the chunks of idlies and keep aside.
  2. In a pan, heat the oil and saute the onions with ginger garlic paste and slit green chillies for a good 2 minutes. Once done, add the tomatoes and cook well.
  3. Add all the ground spice powders except the garam masala and let it cook until the raw flavor goes away.
  4. Add the capsicum, all the sauces and cook for a minute.
  5. Finally add the garam masala powder and mix well.
  6. Turn off the heat and serve hot with onion raitha.
