Crab corma / Kakrar jhal is one of the most favorite dish is me and my son . I love to make various preparations with fresh carb . Kakrar jhal is a dish which belong from Bengal , which is in the eastern coastal regain of India and is situated near the sea Bay of Bengal . In my house my Lovely Grandma prepared various of crab dishes, this is one of them.
Clean the crabs and rub with little salt and turmeric powder mix well .
Heat 1 tablespoon oil in a pan .
Fry the crabs till they turns red in colour. Keep aside .
Heat remaining oil same pan, add onion paste and fry till it turns light brown. Then add ginger and garlic paste fry till the raw smell disappear .
Add cumin powder and turmeric powder stir for 30 second .
Add green chilly paste , red chilly paste , tomato puree and mustard paste. Fry for 5 minutes.
Then add salt , sugar and fried crabs . Stir continuously for 2 minutes , add little water and cover it for few minutes or till the oil separate from the sides of the pan .
Then add shahi garam masala powder and chopped coriander leaves and stir well .
Now Kakrar Jhal or Crab Corma is ready to serve .
This spicy delicious Crab Corma serve with only hot steamed rice.
