Steamed sandesh is a traditional sweet dish of Bengal. It is very easy to make mouth watering sweet dish. Here i used Hershey's strawberry syrup and it made the dish more tasty.

Heat the milk in a pan.
Once the milk starts boiling, lower the flame. Pour the beaten curd and stir the milk. Once the milk starts curdling, remove the pan from oven.
Put it over a soft cotton cloth. Let all the water drain away. Now wash the chenna with cold water and squeeze out the excess water.
Place a heavy object on the cheena and keep the object for 30 minutes. After 30 minutes transfer the cheena in a plate.
Add sugar and strawberry syrup. Mix it nicely.
Take a steel container and grease it with ghee. Pour cheena mixture into the container and cover it with lid.
Take a large pan, add 2 cups of water. Once the water starts boiling, lower the heat and place a steel rack very carefully and keep the container over the rack.
Cover the pan with lid and let it cook on low flame for about 20-25 minutes.
Once it is done, let it cool down first at room temperature. Then put the container into the refrigerator for 30 minutes to 1 hour.
Cut it into the square pieces. Sprinkle with some dry fruits and serve.
