Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. 2 tbsp beaan (gram flour)
  2. 1 Cup water
  3. 1 large sized onion
  4. 1 large sized potato
  5. 1 green chilli
  6. 1/4 th tsp red chilli powder
  7. Salt to taste
  8. 1 tsp ajwain
  9. Pinch of Soda
  10. Coriander leaves
  11. Oil for Deep frying

Instructions

  1. Take besan (gram flour) in bowl. Add water (pour little amount, mix and then add water accordingly).
  2. Make a smooth batter. There should not be any lumps.
  3. Then add ajwain, red chilli powder, salt and mix it.
  4. Then add sliced onion and potatoes.
  5. Add chopped green chilli and coriander leaves.
  6. Mix it properly.
  7. Heat the oil in a wok for deep frying.
  8. Then put one by one onion, potatoes and mix in besan and put in hot oil.
  9. Fry from both sides till it becomes golden and take out on tissue paper.
  10. Sprinkle chaat masala.
  11. Serve hot with garma garam chai (tea).
