Ingredients Serving: 3

  1. For The Manchurian Balls-
  2. 2 cups finely chopped cabbage
  3. 1 cup grated carrot
  4. Salt to taste
  5. 2 pinches freshly black pepperpowder
  6. 2 Tbsp Cornflour
  7. 4 tbsp plain flour
  8. 1 tsp finely chopped green chillies
  9. 1 tbsp finely chopped garlic
  10. Oil for deep-frying
  11. For the stuffing
  12. 2 tbsp Oil
  13. 2 tbsp finely chopped garlic (lehsun)
  14. 1 tbsp finely chopped green chillies
  15. 1 tsp finely chopped ginger
  16. 2 tbsp spring onion whites
  17. 2 Tbsp Finely Chopped Capsicum
  18. 2 tbsp grated cabbage
  19. 2 tbsp grated carrot
  20. 1 cup hot and sour soup
  21. 1 teaspoon schezwan chutney
  22. 1 tbsp soy sauce
  23. 1 tbsp Red chilli sauce
  24. Salt to taste
  25. For outer cover-
  26. 2 cup plain flour
  27. 1 Teaspoon oil
  28. Water as per need for kneading dough
  29. For the Garnish-
  30. 1 tbsp finely chopped spring onion greens
  31. tomato ketchup for serving

Instructions

  1. For the manchurian balls-
  2. Combine the cabbage, carrots, salt, pepper, cornflour and plain flour in a bowl and mix well. Add the green chillies and garlic and mix well.
  3. Divide the mixture into equal portions and shape each portion into a round ball Heat the oil in a kadhai and deep-fry the balls, a few at a time, on a medium flame till they turn golden brown in colour from all the sides. Drain on absorbent paper and keep aside
  4. For the stuffing-
  5. Take deep pot on heat.add hot and sour soup packet mixture in it (small one ).stir it well till it thickened keep aside.
  6. Heat the oil in a broad non-stick pan on a high flame till it smokes. Add the ginger, garlic, green chillies and saut on a high flame for a few seconds.add schewan chutney in it . Add the spring onion whites and capsicum and saut on a high flame for 1 minute.add carrot,cabbage .saute it
  7. Add the hot and sour soup ,chilli sauce and soya sauce, mix well and cook on a high flame for 2 to 3 minutes.add prepared Manchurian balls in it. mix well and cook on a high flame for 30 seconds. Add salt if need it
  8. Take plain flour ,add water and knead dough by adding oil.knead it little hard .divide in equal parts
  9. Make chapati from dough .then fill stuffing in it.spread it with spoon evenly.now roll it properly .and seal edges with water .side of rolls also .make another rolls like this.
  10. Take pan on medium heat.add little oil for shallow fry .and shallow fry Manchurian rolls .till it becomes golden brown and crispy.remove when it is Done . Serve with tomato ketch up .
