Tomato kadhi is very delicious indian recipe . You can serve it with hot steamed rice .

Ingredients Serving: 5

  1. Roma tomatoes 3-4
  2. A small piece of ginger
  3. 3-4 gralic cloves finely chopped
  4. 2-3 green chillies finely chooped
  5. 1 tsp mustard seeds
  6. 1 tsp cumin seeds
  7. 4-5 curry leaves
  8. 2 tbsp gram flour
  9. 1 tsp turmeric powder
  10. 1 tsp coriander powder
  11. A pinch of asafoetida
  12. Salt as per taste
  13. Oil for cooking
  14. 1/4 cup coriander leaves finely chopped

Instructions

  1. First in a grinder take roma tomatoes and ginger . Grind it well and make a puree . Keep it aside .
  2. Now in a pan take oil , then add mustard seeds and cumin seeds . When seeds starts crackle add curry leaves ,copped garlic cloves and green chillies ,saute it for about 2 minutes .
  3. Now add asafoetida,turmeric powder , coriander powder and salt as per taste . Then add gram flour and cook it for about 5 minutes .
  4. Now add tomato puree and little water . Now cover it and cook it for about 10 minutes .
  5. Tomato kadhi is ready .Garnish it with coriander leaves . Serve hot with steamed rice or roti.
