ABOUT Oats Cookies RECIPE

Oats are cerial variety. Now a days people like to consume oats in their diet in India.Oats are a nutrient-rich food associated with lower blood cholesterol when consumed regularly. I like to have this biscuits daily in the morning with tea. Oats cookies are favourite of my family members. so I want to share this recipe ro our friends in our geoup.

Ingredients Serving: 10

  1. Oat meal 1 cup
  2. Whowle wheat flour 1 cup
  3. Unsalted butter at room temp. 1/2 cup
  4. Small banana(mashed) 1
  5. powdered sugar 1/2 cup
  6. Milk 1/4 cup
  7. salt 1/4 tsp
  8. Baking Powder 1 Tsp
  9. Baking soda 1/2 tsp
  10. Venilla essence or cardamom powder 1/2 tsp

Instructions

  1. 1) In a large bowl put the butter,mashed banana, sugar, vanilla essence and milk and beat until it becomes smooth and creamy in texture.
  2. 2) Put all the dry ingredients oats, wheat flour, salt, baking soda and baking powder and mix well.
  3. 3) Knead into soft dough by adding milk.
  4. 4) Divide the mixture into 24 equal parts and form into round balls.
  5. 5) Place all the balls on a greased tray at a distance from each other and flatten the into round cookies by your fingers..(grease your fingers with butter to avoid sticking)
  6. 6) preheat the oven for 180℃
  7. 7) Bake the cookies for 15 to 20 minutes or until cookies are lightly gold brown in color
  8. 8) Let them cool on the tray completely then take them off from the tray
  9. 9) Store in an airtight container.
