A very tasty and easy to prepare recipe

Ingredients Serving: 6

  1. 3 large tomatoes{chopped}
  2. 1medium onion{chopped}
  3. 4 garlic cloves
  4. 2tbsp chilli powder
  5. 1/2tbsp chana dal
  6. 1/3 tsp mustard seeds
  7. 6curry leaves
  8. Salt to taste
  9. 2tbsp oil
  10. Grated Coconut 1tbsp

Instructions

  1. Heat 1tbsp oil in a pan.Add chana dal and saute till it turns brown.Add chopped tomatoes,chilli powder,onion,salt.Stir and cook for 4mins.
  2. Turn off flame and allow to cool.
  3. Grind the cooled chutney and grated Coconut to a smooth paste.
  4. Heat 1tbsp oil in a pan.Add curry leaves and mustard.
  5. Pour the above tempering on top of the chutney.
  6. Serve.
