ABOUT Thai Style Red Chilli Sauce. RECIPE

A sweet and sour red chilli sauce,commonly used in Thailand with snacks.

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Fresh red chillies 8nos.
  2. Garlic cloves 10 nos.
  3. Salt 1/2tea spoon.
  4. Sugar 1/2cup.
  5. White vinegar 1/2cup.
  6. Light soya sauce 1table spoon
  7. Fish sauce 2table spoon.

Instructions

  1. Take one cup water in a pan,add sugar and let it dissolve on low flame.
  2. Cook for 2minutes.
  3. Meanwhile wet grind red chillies and garlic cloves coarsely.
  4. Now add chilli paste to sugar syrup.
  5. Add salt,white vinegar andfish sauce(if fish sauce is not available,you may replace it with light soya sauce.).
  6. Boil and cook on low flame for 5minutes.
  7. Add dark soya sauce and remove from stove.
  8. Serve with snacks.
