Take a pressure cooker and add oil. Once hot, add the spices and saute.
Once done, add the chopped onion and fry until translucent.
Now add the ginger - garlic paste and fry.
Add sliced mushroom,baby corn and saute for 2-3 minutes.
Add the soya chunks, chopped tomatoes, and fry until mushy.
Add all the spice powders and mix well.
Add chopped coriander leaves and mint leaves and mix well.
Add curd and mix well.
Add salt and mix well.
Leave it to boil until done.
Add soaked rice.
Add water(1 cup rice - 1 1/2 cup water).
Close the lid and leave it for 3 whistles
Let the to steam escape and if you open and see biryani is ready.
Serve it hot with a bowl of raita.
