ABOUT Cornflakes Cookies RECIPE

These soft melt-in-mouth cookies made with cornflakes are healthy yet delicious.

Ingredients Serving: 10

  1. Mesurement - 1 cup = 240 gm
  2. Wholewheat flour 1 cup
  3. Cornflakes powdered 3/4 cup
  4. Cornflour 1 tsp
  5. Dessicated coconut 1 tbsp
  6. Sugar (powdered) 1 cup
  7. Oil 1 cup
  8. Baking soda 1/2 tsp
  9. Salt 1/4 tsp /a pinch
  10. Vanilla Essence 2 Tsp

Instructions

  1. Mix all the dry ingredients except sugar powder.
  2. In a bowl, whisk oil, essence and sugar powder.
  3. Whisk well for 4-5 minutes.
  4. Now, mix all the ingredients. To make a dough.
  5. If required, add a few drops of milk
  6. Keep the dough in freezer for 10 minutes
  7. Then make small balls and press them with a fork to make the design.
  8. Alternatively, use a rolling pin to flatten the dough and cut the required shape
  9. Preheat the oven or the convection mode of the microwave at 150 degrees.
  10. Place the cookies on the greased tray or tray with parchment paper.
  11. Bake for 25 minutes.
  12. Take the tray out of the oven and let the cookies rest on the baking tray itself for 5 minutes.
  13. Then place the cookies on a wire rack to cook down completely.
  14. Store in airtight when completely cool.
