ABOUT malai kofta from leftover gravy RECIPE

we had panner butter masala in dinner. Now very little panner left and lots of gravy. So I add boil potatoes in panner and made Malai kofta for lunch. See the process below.

Ingredients Serving: 3

  1. leftover panner cubes- 1 cup
  2. boil potatoes -4
  3. refined flour-1/2 cup+2 tablespoon
  4. leftover gravy-3 cups
  5. zeera-1/4 teaspoon
  6. garam masala-1/2 teaspoon
  7. cashews- 1 tablespoon
  8. kismiss-1 tablespoon
  9. green chilli - 1(chopped)
  10. oil for frying+1/2 tablespoon
  11. Salt to taste

Instructions

  1. Take a sieve, put panner cubes in it and press so excess gravy or moisture come out.
  2. Take those panner cubes in a bowl. mashed them properly.
  3. Add boiled potatoes in that same bowl and mash them also properly.
  4. Add 1/2 cup corn flour or refined flour in it.
  5. Add little salt according to taste ,green chilli and garam masala in it.
  6. Mix properly and make smooth dough.
  7. Grease little oil in hand.Make small balls from the dough.
  8. Stuff one cashew and kismiss in it and again roll into small ball.
  9. Heat oil in a wok.
  10. Roll those balls one by one in corn flour and fry till golden brown.
  11. Take out on paper towel.
  12. Heat little oil in wok once again add zeera. sauté a little.
  13. Now add leftover gravy and little water as gravy could have been thick
  14. Add little salt according to taste and koftas in a gravy.n
  15. Pour little cream and coriander leaves and serve.
