Khoya paneer....after making ghee from malai, you are left with so much residue

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Paneer chopped in small cubes...1 cup
  2. Malai residue. 1/2 cup or so
  3. Tomato puree....1/2 cup
  4. Milk...1/4 cup
  5. Cashew nuts...8, crushed (optional)
  6. Olive oil....1/2 tea spoon
  7. Cumin seed...1/4 tea spoon
  8. Asafoetida....1 pinch
  9. Salt and green chillies to taste
  10. Garam masala...1/2 tea spoon
  11. Turmeric powder....1/8 tea spoon
  12. Coriander leaves to garnish

Instructions

  1. Heat a woke, add oil and asafetida and cumin seed and cook it for a while
  2. Add tomato puree, green chillies and all masalas and stir continuously till the masala is cooked
  3. Add paneer and Malai residue, cashew nuts and milk and cook for some time or till done
  4. Add coriander leaves to garnish and serve this yummy and healthy dish
