Ingredients Serving: 8

  1. 2 cup all purpose flour (maida)
  2. 1 cup sugar powder
  3. 1/2 cup malai
  4. One pinch cardamom powder
  5. 1 tbsp baking powder
  6. 1 tbsp soda
  7. Half tbsp vanilla essence
  8. ¼ cup oil
  9. Half cup milk
  10. Same choped pista and walnut
  11. Two spoon hershey syrup
  12. 250 grm kaju katli

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 180 degre. grease a cake tin with little bit of butter evenly on the base and the inner side edges of the tin. Dust the inside of the tin with a little chocolate powder to help the cake come out smoothly from the cake tin ..
  2. Grind the kaju katli Take all the dry ingredients, sieve them well and mix them together. Keep aside, while you get set to whip up the liquid batter.
  3. In a clean bowl add the malai, powdered sugar,kaju katli add vanilla essence, cardamom powder , hershey syrup ,and mix well.
  4. Now slowly and steadily, add the liquid batter, into the dry mixture, in installments. Keep stirring, to prevent the formation of any lumps. Add walnut .you will have a dark, looking thick batter.
  5. Pour the cake batter in the prepared cake tin,add sprinkle pista Tap the sides so that the trapped air bubbles are freed. Bake the cake in a preheated oven for 180 degrees for 30 to 35 minutes. Take a toothpick, insert it in the cake, if it comes out clean it means your cake is ready and if not, you can cook for few more minutes.
  6. Let the cake sit in the tin for 5 minutes, then gently run a knife around the edge and turn the cake out onto a wire rack to cool.
