Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Chicken bone-in, cut into small pieces...1kg
  2. Hung curd...1/2cup
  3. Salt
  4. Red chilli powder....2tspn
  5. Turmeric powder...2tspn
  6. Butter...50gm
  7. Kasuri methi...1tspn
  8. Kashmiri red chilli powder...1tspn
  9. Roughly chopped onion...2
  10. Roughly chopped tomato....3
  11. Chopped garlic...10
  12. Ginger paste...2tspn
  13. Ginger garlic paste...1tspn
  14. Garam masala...1tspn
  15. Cashew nuts....10
  16. Green cardamom...2
  17. Cinnamon stick...1
  18. Cloves...4
  19. Whole kashmiri red chilli...4
  20. Oil

Instructions

  1. Marinate the chicken with salt, 1tspn ginger garlic paste, turmeric powder, red chilli powder & hung curd.
  2. For gravy, heat 1tspn oil & 3tspn butter. Add cinnamon, cardamom, whole red chilli & garlic.Saute it for a while.
  3. Then add chopped onion, tomato ,ginger paste, cashew nuts .Saute on high flame for 2 to 3 minutes.
  4. After that reduce the flame, cover it & let it cook for 15 minutes till the mixture became soft.Switch off the flame then, make it cool for few minutes & then make puree of it.
  5. Now heat butter in a pan & fry the marinated chicken pieces in high for 2 to 3 minutes.Then take out.
  6. Now fry the puree now for 2 to 3 minutes & then add chicken, red chilli powder ,salt & water.Cover it & let it cook now.
  7. Once the chicken is cooked, add crushed kasuri methi, fresh cream & garam masala.
  8. Serve hot with chapati or butter naan.
