Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. 1 inch cinnamon stick
  2. 1 star anise
  3. 4 cloves
  4. 3 cardomom
  5. 1 tablespoon coriander seeds
  6. 1 tablespoon pepper corns
  7. 2 tablespoon of cumin seeds
  8. 1 tablespoon fennel seeds
  9. 4-5 red chilli
  10. half cup grated coconut
  11. 5-6 cashew nuts
  12. oil as required
  13. 2 bay leaves
  14. 1 cup shallots
  15. ginger garlic as required
  16. 1 tablespoon turmeric powder
  17. 2 tablespoon chilli powder
  18. salt as required
  19. 1 tomato
  20. half kg chicken
  21. coriander leaves

Instructions

  1. roast cinnamon, star anise, cloves, cardomom,coriander seeds, pepper corns, cumin, fennel seeds and dry chilli
  2. after roasting all the ingredients for some time(till it roasts and make good smell) add grated coconut and cashewnut and roast for some more time
  3. make it powder
  4. In a pan pour oil and add bay leaves, small onion and add little salt and roast for some time till it gets smooth
  5. add ginger garlic paste and roast fo some time
  6. add turmeric powder, chilli powder and freshly grounded chettinad masala and mix it
  7. add tomatoes and sauté will
  8. add 2-3 cups of water and add mutton to it and add required salt for th dish
  9. boil until the mutton gets cooked well
  10. add coriander leaves and off the flame
  11. serve with rice, chapathi or naan
