Marinate the chicken with curd ,Salt, coriander powder, turmeric powder, chilly powder, cumin powder, ginger garlic paste and little oil.
Soak saffron in hot milk.
Heat a pan add refined oil + butter. Put potato and fried .keep aside. .
Then add whole garam masala and bay leaf
Add chopped onion. When it become golden brown in colour, Half fried onion keep aside . Add marinated chicken to this fried onion.
Add tomato puree and cook very well. .
When chiken cooked then biryani masala are add to this.
Now wash rice.
In a heavy bottom pan take Water, salt and rice . Add few drops of oil. Cook till half done. Then drain the rice.
Now take a biryani pot with a thin layer of rice, then cooked chicken and last layer of rest rice. Spread fried onion and soaked saffron. Then pour butter / ghee and cover biryani pot.
Cook on low flame for 20 minutes.
Serve hot.
