A simple baked pudding made with bread, butter and jam which I always made for my kids

Ingredients Serving: 6

  1. Butter 100gms
  2. Bread 6
  3. Jam 3tbsp
  4. Eggs 3
  5. Milk 2.5cup
  6. Sugar 1/2cup
  7. Vanilla Essence 1tsp
  8. Chocolate chips 2tbsp
  9. Vanilla Sauce
  10. Milk 1.5 cup
  11. Custard powder 1tbsp
  12. Vanilla essence 1/2tsp
  13. Sugar 3tbsp

Instructions

  1. Cut the sides of bread
  2. Apply thick layer of butter on bread
  3. Apply jam on the other
  4. Cut into cubes
  5. Put in a baking dish
  6. In a mixer break eggs
  7. Add sugar
  8. Add vanilla essence
  9. Add milk
  10. Blend properly
  11. Pour on bread cubes and leave to soak for 15 minutes
  12. Add blobs of butter on top
  13. Sprinkle chocolate chips on top
  14. Put blobs of jam too
  15. Bake on a preheated oven for 20 minutes
  16. It will be golden brown on top
  17. Let's make Vanilla sauce In a pan take milk and add sugar
  18. Add custard powder
  19. Add vanilla essence
  20. Mix properly with a whisker
  21. Cook till it is slightly thick and creamy for 5 minutes
  22. The consistency should be thin as it will thicken when cool
  23. Serve chilled
