Ingredients Serving: 6

  1. Fresh coconut 1 bowl
  2. 1 teaspoon split black gram
  3. 1 teaspoon gram pulse
  4. 1 teaspoon mustard seeds
  5. 1 teaspoon curry leaves
  6. 2 .3 dry whole red chillies
  7. 1 tablespoon oil
  8. 1 inch jaggery
  9. 1 teaspoon tamarind paste

Instructions

  1. Put a pan on medium heat
  2. Add oil in it
  3. Add both the pulses and fry them
  4. Add mustard seeds and curry leaves
  5. Add dry chillies and fry well
  6. Now add coconut and turn off the flame
  7. Grind it adding jaggery and salt
  8. Add tamarind paste
  9. Serve with idlis or uttappam
