Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. moong dal-250 gm
  2. capsicum chopped-1 small
  3. Tomatoes finally chopped-2 small
  4. onion finally chopped-2 small
  5. corriender leaves chopped-2 tsp
  6. ginger-1 small
  7. green chillies-2
  8. grated paneer-2-3 tbsp
  9. salt to taste
  10. chat masala-1/2 tsp
  11. Bread-4 pieces
  12. oil as required
  13. grated coconut-1 cup
  14. curd-1/2 cup for chutney
  15. curry leaves-5-6
  16. black musturd seed-1/2 tsp

Instructions

  1. wash and soaked moong dal in water for 30 minutes. After 30 minutes grind soaked dal,ginger, green chillies, 2 tbsp grated coconut, salt and make a smooth batter. keep aside.
  2. In a bowl mix chopped onion, tomato, carrot, capsicum, paneer and corriender leaves to make mixture.
  3. cut the bread round in shape with the help of glass. Heat a non stick pan or tawa over a low heat.
  4. Dip bread in a moong dal batter and flatten it on heated pan. spread the vegetable mixture on top of the bread and pour some oil on it.
  5. cook at low flame. turn it to cook the other side.grease it on the corner. cook it to make it crispy.
  6. for chutney grind grated coconut, curd and salt and make chutney. For temparing take a small pan over flame. add 1/2 tsp oil. add musturd seed and curry leaves. when it crackle add in chutney.
  7. serve uttapam sprinkle some chat masala. garnish with corriender leaves and serve with coconut chutney.
