Ingredients Serving: 6

  1. 3 cup yoghurt
  2. 1 cup mango purée
  3. 1/3 cup fine sugar
  4. 1/4 tsp crushed cardamom
  5. 1/4 cup mango for garnish
  6. 1 tbsp sliced pistachios

Instructions

  1. preparing yoghurt
  2. put a muslin cloth over a strainer. Pour the yoghurt over muslin cloth.. Place the bowl underneath the strainer to collect excess water.
  3. Now gently squeeze the excess water from Yoghurt.
  4. Move the yoghurt with strainer and bowl into refrigerator for at about 3 hours to drain excess water.
  5. Yoghurt will become thick in consistency like cheese ball
  6. Add mango pulp, sugar and cardamom powder to yoghurt and mix well till sugar dissolves.
  7. Chill Amarkhand before serving
  8. Garnish with mango pieces and pistachios
