ABOUT Soya Cheese Cutlets with Sprouts Guava Dip RECIPE

Soya cheese cutlets is a best snack recipe for kids as well as adults. Soya is a good source of protein. This recipe can be made from soya chunks or soya granuals combined with boiled potatoes and cottage cheese. These are deep fried but can be shellow fry or baked also. We also use them to make soya tikki burger, pulao, keema or pakora.

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Soya chunks 1 cup
  2. Boiled potatoes 3-4
  3. Grated cottage cheese 1/2 cup
  4. 2 brown bread slices
  5. 1 finely chopped onion
  6. Salt 1 teaspoon
  7. Chat masala 1 teaspoon
  8. Red chilly flakes 1 teaspoon
  9. Mix herbs 1 teaspoon
  10. Garlic powder 1 teaspoon
  11. Oil for frying 2 cup
  12. FOR GUAVA MOONG SPROUTS DIP
  13. Moong sprouts 1/2 cup
  14. 1 green chili (optional)
  15. Salt 1/2 teaspoon
  16. Juice of 1 small lemon
  17. 1 Guava , cubed

Instructions

  1. Soak soya chunks in warm water for five minutes.
  2. Squeeze out excess water. Blend soya chunks to coarse mixture
  3. Grind bread slices to crumbs. Grate potatoes in a bowl
  4. Add onions, bread crumbs, soya mixture, Salt, chat masala, red chilly flakes, garlic powder and herbs to potatoes and mix well
  5. Add grated cheese. Mix well. Heat oil in a pan.
  6. Divide the mixture in equal parts and make round balls. Flatten them with palms.
  7. Deep fry cutlets until golden brown and crispy. Drain out excess oil on absorbent paper.
  8. FOR GUAVA MOONG SPROUTS DIP:- Grind all ingredients to a smooth paste.
  9. Serve cutlets hot with Dip
