Soak rice plus dal for 1 hour.
Drain and put it in a mixer jar.
Add salt, asafaetida,soda and green chilli.
Grind to a coarse paste.
Transfer to a bowl.
Add onion,mint and coriander leaves.
Mix well.
Place Kadai with oil on medium flame.
When hot ,take small portion of the batter make few balls and slide into the oil.
Fry them golden brown .
Remove serve hot with chutney,or a side dish for curry and rice.
