This is a very popular dessert in maharashtra. In every festivals maharastrian made this dessert.

Ingredients Serving: 2

  1. 250 gram curd
  2. 1 cup Powder sugar
  3. 1/4 spoon cardamom powder
  4. 7-8 threads of saffron
  5. 1 spoon chopped almonds
  6. 1 spoon chopped pistachio
  7. 1 pinch nutmeg powder

Instructions

  1. Firstly hang the curd in muslin cloth for 2 hrs.
  2. Soak the saffron in 1 spoon curd.
  3. Unwrap the cloth and take out hung curd.
  4. In a mixing bowl put hung curd, powder sugar, cardamom powder, soaked saffron,1/2 chopped nuts and nutmeg powder.
  5. Mix altogether well and refrigerat for 15 minutes.
  6. Garnish with chopped dry fruits.
