ABOUT Hung Curd Bread roll. ( Think Different ) RECIPE

" Dadi I have never eaten so tasty bread rolls." My grand daughter awarded me with this Best words. Bread roll is my most favourite since childhood. The recepie travelled from my Mom to me and than to my kids and grandkids with different varieties of fillings. Here I have used Hung cured in filling . I have added Spinach and Spring Onions in that.

Ingredients Serving: 3

  1. Hung curd 3 tbsp.
  2. Spinach blanched and chopped 3 tbsp.
  3. Spring onions chopped 2 tbsp
  4. Roasted Garlic flakes 1 tsp
  5. Pepper powder 1 tsp( you can adf according to taste)
  6. Chilli Powder 1/2 tsp
  7. Turmeric 1/2 tsp
  8. Salt to taste.
  9. Cajun spice powder 1/2 tsp.
  10. Coriander leaves chopped 1 tbsp.
  11. Oil for frying.
  12. Bread slices 8 pieces.

Instructions

  1. Heat 1/2 tsp oil in a pan.. Saute blanched and chopped Spinach on medium high heat till it dries .
  2. Remove from heat , transfer in a wider plate and allow to cool.
  3. Now add 1/2 tsp oil in the same pan and saute Spring onions too. Cool under the fan.
  4. Now take out your Hung curd from fridge.
  5. Add both the veges, add all masala mentioned above in Ingredient list.
  6. Add coriander leaves too. Mix every thing with soft hands.
  7. Grease your palms and make required size balls of the fillings.
  8. Keep in the fridge.
  9. Now heat oil in the pan. Take out bread slices. Don't cut the edges. ( Generally edges of bread slices are cut for bread rolls but I prefer not to cut. I seal from edges by giving little pressure. The edges give crispness to the bread roll. )
  10. First dip edges of the bread in water by turning it horizontally. Than dip bread in water.
  11. Squeeze out water. Take out your filling and stuff your bread slice with it.
  12. You can give oval shape too to your filling to make it easier to fill.
  13. Fry your rolls one by one in hot oil carefully.
  14. And here are your healthy and delicious bread rolls.
