ABOUT TANDOORI PANEER PLATTER RECIPE

Ingredients Serving: 5

  1. 250 gms cubed paneer
  2. 10 - 12 pieces of boiled and peeled baby potatoes
  3. 2 onions , cut in cubes
  4. 2 tomatoes , cut in cubes
  5. 1 green capsicum , cut in cubes
  6. FOR MARINATION
  7. 4 tbsp hung curd
  8. 1 tsp garlic paste
  9. 1 tbsp ginger green chillies paste
  10. 1 tsp tandoori masala
  11. 1 tsp red chilly powder
  12. Pinch of haldi powder
  13. 1 tbsp kasoorimethi
  14. 1 tbsp mustard oil
  15. Salt to taste
  16. 2 tbsp roasted chana powder
  17. Some oil or ghee for roasting
  18. Some wooden skewers , soaked in water for 15 minutes
  19. Some onion rings , shredded cucumber
  20. Tomato sauce
  21. Hung curd dip
  22. Lime slices
  23. Some chaat masala
  24. Fresh coriander

Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl put hung curd
  2. Then add garlic paste and ginger green chillies paste
  3. Now add red chilly powder , haldi powder , tandoori masala , salt
  4. Then add kasoorimethi , roasted chana powder and mustard oil
  5. Mix well with your hands , until all the masala merges well
  6. Now add cubed paneer , oinon , tomatoes , potatoes and capsicum
  7. Mix them well very gently with your hands
  8. All the masala should be well coated to the paneer and vegetables
  9. Cover and keep it in the refrigerator for at least 4 hours for marination
  10. After 4 hours take it out from the refrigerator
  11. Take a soaked wooden skewer
  12. Now start putting the marinated paneer and vegetables
  13. First pierce the onion piece , then potato , then tomato , then capsicum and then paneer
  14. Again repeat the process
  15. In the same way prepare all the skewers
  16. In the meantime heat a pan , first on high then make the flame low
  17. Now place the ready skewers in the hot pan
  18. 3 - 4 skewers can be placed at one time
  19. Now sprinkle some oil or ghee on the paneer and vegetables
  20. Roast them on low heat , by turning them at regular intervals
  21. Roast them , until becomes brown from all the sides
  22. When done take them out in a plate
  23. Arrange them in a serving platter
  24. Serve with onion rings , shredded cucumber , lime slices , tomato sauce and hung curd dip
  25. Sprinkle some chaat masala on top
  26. Garnish with fresh coriander
