ABOUT ROASTED BELLPEPPERS RAITA RECIPE

A flavourful raita, made with roasted bell peppers.

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. 1 yellow bell pepper
  2. 1 red bell pepper
  3. 1 green bell pepper
  4. 2 tbsp masala peanuts , crushed
  5. 2 tbsp finely chopped mint leaves
  6. 1 cup fresh curd
  7. Salt to taste
  8. Some oil for applying on bell peppers
  9. Some peanuts for garnishing
  10. Mint leaves for garnishing

Instructions

  1. Wash and wipe the bell peppers
  2. Apply little oil on them
  3. Now hold one bell pepper with a fork
  4. Roast it on direct gas by rotating it at regular intervals
  5. Until it becomes charred from all the sides
  6. When done remove from fire and place it in a plate to cool down
  7. In this way roast the other two bell peppers also
  8. When the bell peppers cools down then take out the peel
  9. Remove the seeds also
  10. And chop them into small pieces
  11. Now in a mixing bowl take out the curd and blend it with little salt
  12. Now add 1/2 cup of chopped tricolour bell peppers to the curd
  13. Add crushed masala peanuts and mint leaves to the curd also
  14. Mix well with a spoon
  15. Take it out in a serving bowl
  16. Garnish with peanuts , bell peppers and mint leaves
  17. Chill it in a refrigerator for an hour
  18. Serve chilled with masala pooris , stuffed paranthas , pulao , biryani etc
