ABOUT Mango Raita RECIPE

Mango raita is a simple yogurt based raita.Easy to make and delicious in taste.

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. 2 cup yogurt
  2. 1/2 cup mango peeled and sliced
  3. 2 Red chilly
  4. 2 tablespoon sugar
  5. 1 tablespoon ghee
  6. 1 teaspoon mustard seeds
  7. 1/4 teaspoon Fenugreek Seeds
  8. 1/2 cup chopped fresh coriander
  9. Salt to taste

Instructions

  1. Slit the red chilly in the center and cut into halves.
  2. Peel the mango skin and cut into small cubes.
  3. In a mixing bowl,add yogurt and sugar.Whisk the yogurt until it is smooth.
  4. Add chopped mangoes and salt.Mix them well.
  5. For the tempering,heat the ghee over the medium heat.Once hot,add mustard seeds and let it crackle.
  6. Then add red chillies and fenugreek seeds,fry lightly and remove from heat and set aside.
  7. Pour this tempering on the yogurt mixture.
  8. Add chopped coriander leaves and mix.
  9. Garnish with diced mango on the top.
  10. Serve immediately.
