Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Curd...1/4 cup
  2. Besan...2 table spoon
  3. Raw Mango puree...1 cup
  4. Water...3 cup
  5. Dry red chillies...2
  6. Turmeric powder...1/4 tea spoon
  7. Asafoetida...1 pinch
  8. Cumin seed...1/4 tea spoon
  9. Fenugreek seeds...1 tea spoon
  10. Desi ghee...2 tea spoon
  11. Ginger and green chillies chopped...1 tea spoon
  12. Curry leaves...1 sprig
  13. Red chilly powder....1/2 tea spoon

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix curd, besan and raw mango puree
  2. Make batter by mixing water . Mix and see there is no lumps in the batter
  3. 1 cup puree I got by grinding 2 raw mangoes in a mixie
  4. A pic of blended raw mango puree
  5. In a heavy bottom pan add 1 tea spoon ghee and asafetida, cumin seed, red chilly, fenugreek seeds and let it splutter
  6. Add curry leaves salt and turmeric powder and pour batter in it
  7. Cook till it gets thick and ready to eat
  8. In a tadka pan add remaining 1 tea spoon ghee and add cumin seed, let it splutter. Now add red chilly powder and curry leaves. This is tadka to be added finally on the serving bowl
  9. Enjoy aamras ki kadhi..Khatti khatti
