Ingredients Serving: 5

  1. 1cup dosa rice /sona masuri rice
  2. 1/2tsp methi seeds
  3. 1cup thin poha /beaten rice
  4. 3/4 cup thick curd
  5. Oil for toasting
  6. Water as required to soak and blend
  7. Salt to taste

Instructions

  1. Firstly in a large bowl, soaked rice and methi seeds for at least 5 hours
  2. Further, blend the soaked rice along with poha adding water as required
  3. blend to slightly course paste this helps to give nice texture to dosa
  4. transfer the better in a large mixing bowl
  5. Further add curd
  6. Mix well making sure that better has combined properly
  7. Cover the ferment a warm place for 8 to 10 hours depending on the climate
  8. Additionally add salt
  9. Add water if required to adjust the consistency
  10. Heat the griddle,smear some oil over the tawa and wipe of with a tissue paper
  11. And pour a ladleful batter on it and spread it gently
  12. Then cover a dosa for a minute and cook till the top of the dosa is cooked completely in presence of steam
  13. Furthermore,the dosa turns to be full of holes and very soft that indicates that dosa is completely cook
  14. Serve with coconut chutney and sambar
