ABOUT Murg malai kabab with yoghurt dip RECIPE

This is a mouth watering kabab, where chicken is marinated in yoghurt, cheese and spices, grilled to perfection served with a yoghurt dip.

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Boneless chicken pieces (500 gm)
  2. White pepper powder (4 tsp)
  3. Cardamom powder (1/2 tsp)
  4. Salt
  5. Ginger Garlic Paste (2 tsp)
  6. Grated cheese (2 tbsp)
  7. Double cream (2 tsp)
  8. Yoghurt (2 tbsp)
  9. Green chillies (2)
  10. Coriander leaves (handful)
  11. Ghee/Oil
  12. Yoghurt dip :
  13. Hung curd - 1/4 th cup
  14. White Pepper powder - 1/2 tsp
  15. Grated garlic - 1 tsp
  16. Salt - 1 pinch
  17. Sugar - 1/4 th tsp

Instructions

  1. Marinate the chicken with salt, pepper powder , salt and cardamom powder. Keep aside for 30 minutes.
  2. Now make a paste of green chillies, corriander leaves and cheese. (P.s : do not add any water while pasting).
  3. Now to the marinated chicken, add rest of the ingredients and the above paste , and let it marinate for atleast 4-5 hours.
  4. Heat your oven at 180℃ , and put the chicken pieces onto the skewers and grill them for atleast 20 minutes or till done. Occasionally smear some ghee or oil while grilling...
  5. For the yoghurt dip, whisk the hung curd with rest of the ingredients mentioned, and serve with the kabab.
