ABOUT Mini Atta Pizza RECIPE

Pizza is one such food which is loved by all age and gender. Any occassions!!! you name it and pizza will always fit into the menu and will also be the hero of the platter. Specially with kids, 99.99% kids like pizzas. They want it for breakfast, lunch, dinner, for their lunch boxes, birthday parties, dabba parties, for their night outs and everywhere you can think of. So why not make it with Atta and make it a little guilt free. So that they can enjoy what they like and we Moms can sneak in all they vegetables that they make fuss about otherwise. It is also easy to make.

Ingredients Serving: 10

  1. Wheat flour 2 cups plus extra for handling
  2. Honey 1 teaspoon
  3. Salt 1 teaspoon
  4. Olive oil or any oil, 4-5 teaspoon divided
  5. Instant Dry Active yeast 3/4 teaspoon
  6. Mix of lukewarm milk and water 1 cup
  7. Pizza sauce 3/4 cup
  8. Pizza cheese 3/4 cup
  9. Capsicum 1 small chopped
  10. Onion 1 small chopped
  11. Mushrooms 3-4 chopped
  12. Sweet corn blanched 1/8 cup
  13. Red bell pepper 1 small chopped
  14. Yellow bell pepper 1 small chopped
  15. Paneer cubed 1/8 cup
  16. Pineapple chunks 10 pieces
  17. Spices of your choice for toppings
  18. Oregano to sprinkle on top

Instructions

  1. I am using instant active yeast, so I can add it directly to flour. Take flour, Honey, salt, 1 teaspoon oil and yeast in a large bowl.
  2. Add lukewarm water and milk mixture and knead a sticky dough. I took half milk half water.
  3. The dough must be sticky. Knead for 1 minute. Add 1 teaspoon Oil and coat the dough with it. Cover and Keep aside for 2 hours.
  4. Mean time clean and chop all the vegetables and toppings you want to add. I am using toppings that my kids and family likes.
  5. Blanch sweet corn and keep ready
  6. Sauté mushrooms and keep them ready
  7. Coat paneer pieces with salt and spices.
  8. Coat pineapple chunks with salts and spices.
  9. If you do not have pizza sauce. Add some pizza herbs and oregano to regular tomato ketchup and use.
  10. Grate cheese and keep ready
  11. After 2 hours my dough looked like this.
  12. Knead it for 1 minute, use some oil for flour to knead.
  13. Divide the dough in two and roll it
  14. Keep it thicker than for chapatis
  15. Cut into rounds with cutter or a sharp edge bowl. I made 24 rounds of 3 inch diameters.
  16. Prick holes with fork.
  17. Bake in preheated oven on 200C for 10 minutes.
  18. You can cool them and keep in ziplock bags for later use. Can also freeze them for several weeks
  19. Apply pizza sauce
  20. Add your favourite toppings
  21. Add cheese
  22. Bake for 7-8 minutes on 200C or till cheese start to melt.
  23. Very yummy and crunchy based healthy thin crust pizza is ready to eat.
