ABOUT "BASUNDI PANNACOTTA" RECIPE

This is a fusion desert, where Indian flavors are mixed in italian desert.

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. 1 litre milk
  2. 4 tsp sugar
  3. 1 cup mix dry fruits [raisins, cashew nuts, almonds]
  4. 6 saffron threads [half soaked in warm milk & half for garnish]
  5. 1 pack gelatin powder
  6. 2 tsp rose syrup

Instructions

  1. Boil the milk in a saucepan, with occasional stirring.
  2. When this reduces to half ,add sugar & saffron threads. Boil for 2 mins, remove it from heat and let this cool.
  3. Meanwhile in warm water add gelatin powder and mix nicely. Leave this to bloom or dissolve.
  4. When basundi is little warm add gelatin and mix well.
  5. Pour in the bowl & tap, cover with sliver foil . keep in fridge for 1 hour.
  6. Remove & garnish with cherry & rose syrup
