Quick recipe of traditional ice cream, made with paneer and pistachios.

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. 1 litre full cream milk
  2. Curd 2 spoon
  3. Sugar ½ cup
  4. Kesar threads 8-9
  5. Chopped pistachio ¼ cup

Instructions

  1. Divide the milk in two parts
  2. Boil 1 part of the milk and add curd
  3. Stir and let it curdle completely
  4. Strain and pour water to extract sour flavor
  5. Soak kesar in ½ cup milk
  6. Boil remaining milk for 10 minutes on low flame
  7. Add crumbled cottage cheese
  8. Add kesar milk and sugar
  9. Mix well and switch off the flame
  10. Let it cool completely
  11. Pour in rectangular box
  12. Add pistachio over it
  13. Cover and keep in freezer for 4-5 hours
  14. Cut and serve
