Biryani is one must have recipe on Ramadan . Try this bread biryani for this Eid just for a change . Super easy , quick bread biryani . I have included eggs in this recipe to add flavour as we desire and moreover I have egg lovers at my place . Though , I don’t recommend using white bread, i was in a situation to use leftover white breads , which I didn’t want to waste . Well , once in a while is fine . No harm . Common , let’s get started .
Perfect breakfast recipe.
Toast the bread slices in little ghee .
Trim off the corners from the toasted bread slices .
Cut the toasted bread slices into bite sized squares and keep aside .
Heat oil in a wide pan .
Add bay leaves .
Add cloves and cinnamon stick .
Add fennel seeds .
Add green chillies .
Add chopped onions and sauté till translucent .
Add chopped tomatoes and sauté till soft and mushy .
Add the turmeric powder .
Add red chilli powder .
Add biryani masala .
Add mint leaves .
Sauté till the masala is formed .
Add salt .
Add water .
Simmer and cook .
Add the halved boiled eggs to the masala .
Mix and coat the eggs with Masala .
Sprinkle black pepper powder .
Add the bread pieces .
Toss them in the masala .
Add ghee .
Simmer and slow cook for a couple of minutes .
See every bread piece is masala coated and slow roasted .
It’s done .
Garnish with cilantros .
Serve hot .
