ABOUT Threaded Chicken RECIPE

Threaded chicken apparently looks difficult,but its super easy to make. kids will definetly love it and for sure they would be surprised to know that the crisp coating was strips of samosa.Vegetarians can use potato instead of chicken.Happy evening!

Ingredients Serving: 6

  1. Boneless Chicken - 1/2 kg
  2. Ginger garlic paste - 2 tablespoon
  3. Onion - 1/2 chopped
  4. Capsicum - 1/2 chopped
  5. oil - 2 tablespoon
  6. oil for frying - 1 cup
  7. Red chilli powder - 1/2 tablespoon
  8. Chilli sauce- 1
  9. Soya sauce - 1 1/2
  10. Samosa Sheet - 10
  11. Maida - 1/2 tablespoon
  12. Corn flour - 1/2 tablespoon
  13. salt - as required

Instructions

  1. Cut the chicken breast pieces into long strips. Wash and drain well.Marinate the chicken with ginger garlic paste and salt.Boil the chicken.
  2. once the chicken is cooked mince them well or cut them in to very small pieces.
  3. In a pan,pour oil.Add the chopped onions and capsicum.Saute them well.
  4. To this add the boiled chicken pieces,soya sauce,chilli sauce,chilli powder and salt.saute them well.This will take around 5minutes to get cooked.
  5. In a bowl,mix maida and cornflour adding little water to form a paste.
  6. take a plate and cut the samosa patties into long strip breadth wise. Thinner the strips the better will be the taste of the patties.
  7. Keep the cut samosa pattis in a plate, this will be used to coat the chicken pieces.
  8. Now remove each chicken piece mixture from the bowl and coat it with the maida-cornflour mixture and wrap them around the samosa pattis.
  9. Heat 1 cup oil in a pan and deep fry the chicken until crisp and golden brown.
  10. Now the crispy thread chicken is ready for serving.It can be served schezwan sauce or any of the favourite sauce of your choice.
