Ingredients Serving: 5

  1. Mutton medium pieces 600 gm
  2. 3 sliced onion
  3. 2 chopped potato
  4. 1 chopped tomato
  5. 2 green chilly
  6. 2 bay leaf
  7. Panchforon 1/2 teaspoon
  8. Ginger-garlic-onion paste 3 tablespoon
  9. Green chilly paste 2 teaspoon
  10. 2 Table spoon cumin powder
  11. 2 table spoon turmeric powder
  12. 1 cup Mustard Oil
  13. Salt to taste
  14. 1 table spoon sugar
  15. 1 Cup water

Instructions

  1. Marinate the mutton pieces with 2 Table spoon mustard oil, 1 table spoon turmeric powder, 1 table spoon ginger-garlic onion paste, 2 teaspoon green chilly paste.
  2. Kept aside for marination 20 mins.
  3. Deep Fry the chopped potato.
  4. Heat the mustard oil in a pan.add bay leaf,2 green chilly, panchforon to crackle,then add sliced onion.sprinkle 1 table spoon salt and 1 Table spoon sugar.
  5. When onion turns into brown,add chopped tomatoes.
  6. Now add 2 Table spoon ginger-garlic onion paste, 1 table spoon turmeric powder, 2 Table spoon cumin powder, salt to taste. Maje the masala mixture for 10 mins. Stirred continuously. Add 1/2 cup water.
  7. Now time to add marinated mutton,mix well the mutton with masala another 15 mins.Add fried potato. Also add 1/2 cup water. Cover the pan for boil the mutton.Sprinkle 1 teaspoon garam masala powder.
  8. Now ready to serve Mutton Kosha with steamed rice,zeera rice, Polao.
