A delicious sun dried kabab from the city of Hyderabad that is loved by many. Infact these kababs are a regular feature in everyone's house during the festival of Eid Ul Adha or Bakrid as it is known. After the sacrifice and distribution of meat, the share that remains with everyone is put to use in many ways. One of it is this sun dried kabab that is a must. Every household has that kababs hung up on their cloth strings and i must add that it is a sight to watch. Try these delicious kababs for your loved ones and enjoy their crisp texture. Ingredients Serving: 10

  1. Mutton boneless 2 kg
  2. Salt 2 tbsp
  3. Ginger Garlic paste 2 tbsp
  4. Turmeric 1 tsp
  5. Red chilli powder 3 tbsp
  6. Garam masala 1 tsp

Instructions

  1. Cut long and thin strips of boneless mutton.
  2. The size can be long or short depending upon one's choice.
  3. Add in all the spices.
  4. Mix well and see to it that each strip is coated well.
  5. Sun dry these strips either with the help of a string or directly on cloth hangers as i did.
  6. Keep them under the direct sunlight for 3-4 days in the day time and keep it inside at night just to save them from the moisture.
  7. Do this for 3-4 days and they will be perfectly dried and crisp.
  8. Store them in airtight containers in the refrigerator and use them as desired.
  9. The correct way to enjoy these is to shallow fry them in hot oil on a medium high heat or even roast on the gas burner until done.
  10. Serve these yummylicious sun dried kababs with khatti dal and steaming hot plate of plain boiled rice.
