ABOUT Minced Mutton Murtabak RECIPE

Spicy mutton mixture stuffed between kneaded flour and shallow fried

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. 2 Cups refined flour
  2. 1 tablespoon oil
  3. Water, required
  4. Salt to taste
  5. FOR FILLING
  6. 250 gms minced mutton
  7. 2 tablespoons oil
  8. 2 onions, chopped
  9. 2 tablespoons Ginger garlic paste
  10. 2 green chillies
  11. 1 teaspoon red chilly powder
  12. 1 teaspoon garam masala
  13. 4 eggs beaten
  14. Few coriander leaves
  15. Salt to taste

Instructions

  1. Take flour, salt, oil in a bowl. Add water to make dough. Knead well. Cover and set aside for 15 min
  2. Heat oil in pan. Fry onion, Ginger garlic paste.
  3. Once raw smell leaves, add minced mutton and cook well.
  4. Add masala powders and cook in medium flame for few minutes
  5. Add beaten eggs,salt and continue mixing until eggs are scrambled and cooked
  6. Switch off flame, add coriander leaves and set aside to cool.
  7. Make small balls out of prepared dough, roll it out to very thin.
  8. Place few spoonfuls of prepared mutton mixture in the center
  9. Now fold it from sides one by one, so you will get rectangular parcels
  10. Place a pan over medium heat. Add a tablespoon of oil and cook the murtabak until they are golden brown by turning them occasionally
  11. Serve hot with your favorite curry.
