Ingredients Serving: 5

  1. Mutton...1kg
  2. Onion....3
  3. Garlic cloves...10
  4. Ginger paste....1tspn
  5. Ghee...3tspn
  6. Curd...100gm
  7. Black cardamom...1
  8. Cloves...5
  9. Mace...1
  10. Cinnamon stick...1
  11. Dry kashmiri red chilli...5
  12. Turmeric powder...3tspn
  13. Red chilli powder...2tspn
  14. Kashmiri red chilli powder...2tspn
  15. Meat masala...2tspn
  16. Garam masala...1/2tspn

Instructions

  1. Marinate the mutton with salt, red chilli powder, turmeric powder & curd.
  2. Marinate it for 4 to 5 hours.
  3. Boil some potatoes & then fry it in hot oil.
  4. Boil chopped onion, garlic cloves, black cardamom, mace & cinnamon stick.
  5. Soak dry kashmiri chilli in hot water for 10 minutes & then make a paste with boiled onion mixture.
  6. Heat 2 tspn ghee in a pan & add the masala paste & ginger paste.Fry it till the oil comes out.
  7. Add marinated mutton & all spices.Stir it constantly.
  8. After few minutes add some hot water ,cover it & cook it well.
  9. Add potatoes & cook it for 5 to 10 minutes more.Add ghee & garam masala .
  10. Its ready now.Serve it with parantha & salad.
