Who doesn't like banana chips and how to make it?.It is a simple ,common and popular karukuru and tea time snacks. Normally the used Narendra variety of banana.Very popular in kerala, but i used haunda banana.Usually used as a vegetable for making curry and playas etc. Tasty crispy banana chips.

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Haunda / sambar banana...2
  2. Oil....... 1 ,1/2 cup
  3. Chilly powder.....1/4 spoon
  4. Rasam powder....1/4 spoon
  5. Turmeric powder....1/4 spoon
  6. Salt .....1/4 spoon
  7. Water....2 tbsp

Instructions

  1. HAUNDA /SAMBAR BANANA CHIPS
  2. TAKE RAW HAUNDA BANANA
  3. PEEL OF SKIN
  4. SLICE THE PEELED BANANA DIRECTLY INTO OIL
  5. TAKE LITTLE WATER,ADD TURMERIC POWDER
  6. ADD RASAM POWDER AND CHILLY POWDER
  7. ADD SALT AND MIX
  8. FRY IT TILL BECOMES CRISPY,NOW ADD LITTLE MASALA WATER,MIX IT
  9. TAKE OUT THE CHIPS FROM THE OIL
  10. YUMMY CHIPS READY
