Sprouted beans with mixed fruits is a very healthy, tongue tickling and wholesome food for brunch.

Ingredients Serving: 3

  1. Green gram 1/2 cup
  2. Black-eyed peas 1/2 cup
  3. Oil 1 tesp
  4. Salt 1/2 tesp
  5. Rock salt 1/2 tesp
  6. Chat masala 1/2 tesp
  7. Black pepper powder 1/2 tesp
  8. Apple 1/4th
  9. Banana 1/2
  10. Pomegranate pearls 2 tbsp
  11. Cottage cheese 50 gms
  12. Green coriander leaves 2 tbsp
  13. Lemon 1

Instructions

  1. TAKE HALF CUP OF GREEN GRAM AND HALF CUP OF BLACK-EYED BEAN /LOBIA.
  2. SOAK IN WATER FOR 8-10 HOURS.
  3. AFTER 10 HOURS BEANS HAVE SWOLLEN.
  4. DRAIN SOAKED BEANS.
  5. KEEP THEM COVERED IN WET CLOTH FOR 24 HOURS.
  6. BEANS HAVE START GERMINATING. WASH THEM IN FRESH WATER.
  7. KEEP AGAIN COVERED IN WET CLOTH FOR 24-36 HOURS.
  8. BEANS HAVE SPROUTED.
  9. WASH THEM NICELY.
  10. HEAT 1 TESP OIL IN A PAN AND ADD BEAN SPROUTS.
  11. ADD HALF TESP SALT AND 1/4 CUP OF WATER.
  12. COOK COVERED ON SIM FOR AROUND 10 MINUTES.
  13. COOK UNTIL BEANS GETS TENDER (NOT MUSHY) AND WATER DRIES UP.
  14. IN COOLED COOKED BEANS ADD FINELY CHOPPED APPLE, POMEGRANATE PEARLS.
  15. ADD FINELY CHOPPED BANANA, COTTAGE CHEESE AND GREEN CORIANDER LEAVES.
  16. SEASON WITH ROCK SALT, CHAT MASALA AND BLACK PEPPER POWDER.
  17. SPRINKLE LEMON JUICE.
  18. TOSS WELL.
