ABOUT Eggless Pizza Buns RECIPE

These delicious buns are made from wheat flour and various colourful vegetables have been stuffed inside.Kids will just love these buns as they have a pizza like filling inside.

Ingredients Serving: 3

  1. Wheat flour-1.5 cups
  2. Milk-1/4 cup+1 tbsp
  3. Sugar-1 tbsp
  4. Dry active yeast-3/4 tbsp
  5. Salt-3/4 tsp
  6. Olive oil-2 tbsp
  7. water-1/3 cup
  8. Sesame seeds-1 tbsp
  9. For stuffing:-
  10. Capsicum-1/4 cup, chopped
  11. Sweet corn-1/4 cup
  12. Tomatoes-1/4 cup, chopped
  13. Onion-1/4 cup, chopped
  14. Olives-2 tbsp, chopped
  15. Cheese - 2 cubes, grated
  16. Oregano-1 tbsp
  17. Chili flakes-1/2 tbsp
  18. Salt to taste
  19. Butter for brushing the buns

Instructions

  1. MIX 1 TBSP SUGAR IN 1/4 CUP WARM MILK
  2. ADD 3/4 TBSP YEAST, MIX , COVER AND KEEP ASIDE FOR 10 MINS
  3. ADD 3/4 TSP SALT, 2 TBSP OIL IN 1.5 CUPS FLOUR
  4. ADD ACTIVATED YEAST TO FLOUR AND MIX WELL
  5. ADD WATER AS REQUIRED AND KNEAD SOFT SMOOTH DOUGH
  6. COVER AND KEEP IT ASIDE FOR 1.5 HOURS
  7. TAKE 1/2 CUP EACH OF TOMATOES, ONIONS, CAPSICUM , CORN
  8. ADD 1 TBSP OLIVES , 2 TBSP PIZZA SAUCE
  9. ADD 1 CUP GRATED CHEESE, MIX WELL
  10. ADD SALT, OREGANO , CHILLI FLAKES AND TOSS WELL
  11. DEFLATE THE DOUGH
  12. MAKE A LOG, CUT LOG INTO 6 EQUAL PIECES, SHAPE THEM INTO BALLS
  13. GENTLY PRESS AND MAKE A HOLLOW AT THE CENTER
  14. FILL 1- 2 TSP STUFFING , GATHER THE EDGES , SEAL TIGHTLY AND SHAPE INTO A BALL
  15. PLACE STUFFED BALLS ON A GREASED BAKING DISH, GIVE A MILK WASH
  16. SPRINKLE SESAME SEEDS ON TOP, COVER AND KEEP IT ASIDE FOR 30 MINS
  17. BAKE FOR 18 -20 MINUTES IN PREHEATED OVEN AT 180 UNTIL GOLDEN BROWN ON TOP. SERVE WARM WITH KETCHUP
