  1. Moong daal soaked - 1/2 CUP
  2. Ghee for frying
  3. Flour - 1 cup
  4. Salt
  5. Green chillies- 2
  6. Asafoetida - 1/4 th tsp
  7. Fennel seeds - 1 tsp
  8. ginger - 1 inch

Instructions

  1. SOAK MOONG DAAL FOR COUPLE OF HOURS AND MAKE A PASTE IN MIXER GRINDER.
  2. NOW HEAT SOME GHEE AND ADD THE ASAFOETIDA, FENNEL SEEDS AND CHOPPED GREEN CHILLIES. THEN ADD THE MOONG DAL PASTE.
  3. ADD SALT AND MIX WELL. COOK UNTIL THE DAL IS COOKED AND THICK ENOUGH. IT SHOULD LOOK LIKE THIS
  4. NOW KNEAD A SEMI SOFT DOUGH USING FLOUR, OIL, SALT AND WATER.
  5. NOW DIVIDE THE DOUGH INTO ROUNDELS, STUFF EACH ROUNDEL WITH THE MOONG DAL STUFFING, NOW HEAT D OIL AND FRY KACHORI
  6. MOONG DAAL KACHORI IS READY ..
